Dear parishioners,
As a Latin Mass parish in the Diocese of Dallas, Mater Dei provides a vital center of worship and community for Catholics in our area. In 1991 when Fr. Irwin said the first Latin Mass for the Fraternity of St. Peter in Dallas on June 27, 1991, there was only one person in attendance. Now nearly 1,000 faithful attend Mater Dei on any given week.
The growth of Mater Dei has become an increasing issue regarding the need for space. During Mass, some members of our parish family have to worship in overflow rooms instead of the sanctuary. As such, the parish would like to build a new sanctuary to address this concern.
As we continue to assess our need for space, I am seeking your participation in a fundraising Feasibility Study to review the proposed plans. The study will help determine if our carefully conceived vision can take the next step toward realization.
Your feedback is of vital importance, therefore I invite you to join us in this study by participating in a confidential online survey.

Thank you, in advance, for your help as we plan for the future of Mater Dei Latin Mass Parish.
Sincerely,
Reverend Thomas Longua, FSSP
