Feast of St. Nicholas Celebration

All parishioners are invited to celebrate the Feast of St. Nicholas! Activities include:
- Cookie Decorations
- Nativity Contest
- Train Rides
- Gourmet Coffee bar by Joe Biondi
- Crafts
- Annual Christmas Sale
- Lunch … Pasta with meat sauce and salad available for purchase
Saint Nicholas Photobooth Fundraiser
Help the Knights of the Altar raise money for new Cassocks and Surplices! Come have your family photo taken with St. Nicholas from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
Donations are welcome but not necessary. All proceeds will go to supporting the Knights of the Altar altar boys guild!
Photo Booth includes:
- Family Photos – 3 Digital Images, including all the children with St. Nicholas, and Mom, Dad and children with St. Nicholas. We expect long lines, so pictures of each child individually might not be an option until after the lines have died down.
- Print Release included – Print release is for personal use only & reproduction rights, images are not to be entered in contests, sold or edited/changed in any way.
- Down your images via online gallery a few days after the event – Instructions on how to get the images will be posted at the fair. Photos will stay online for 5 months after the event.

Additional Information about the St. Nicholas Feast Activities
- COOKIE DECORATION
The Cookie decoration is an activity directed by Mrs. Jill Fernandez. She will provide the cookies and the toppings to make the decoration. Come and have fun using your creativity. There is no contest for the cookie decoration. - CRAFT TABLE
The Craft table is leading by Ms. Diana Hernandez she will provide also, all the materials to create the projects she has planned for the children .It will be few projects to do plus Christmas cards project for the older children. These Christmas Cards will be sent to the nresidents of the Saint Joseph nursing home and the nuns who serve there. The Homeschooling group has schedule a visit to the St Joseph Residency during the 12 days of Christmas. More information about this event will come. - TABLES FOR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
If you want a table to sell merchandise in the Christmas Sale, RSVP to let Martha know as soon as possible. We have limited space for this activity. - SAINT NICHOLAS VISIT
Saint Nicholas will be visiting and bringing surprises for all of us. Get ready! - PHOTO BOOTH FUNDRAISER
Have a Christmas Family picture taken with St. Nicholas! This fundraiser is leading by Ms. Rainey Truty. Donations are welcome but not necessary. She needs an RSVP from you to plan the picture taken during the celebration. We hope everybody take advantage of this opportunity. - NATIVITY CONTEST RULES
- Use any material you find at home or your back yard.
- Remember that Jesus was born in a manger and he was in a barn.
- Think and imagen how poor the place was. ( piece of fabrics, hay or Sticks, rope any natural materials you can think of can be use in your creation)
- Your project should be no bigger than 17 inches by 12 inches.
- Bring your project and set it up at the table design for the display of the contest. PLEASE RSVP for the contest to know how much space we need for the children.
- PASTA AND SALAD LUNCH
For lunch we will have pasta with meat sauce and salad. Please RSVP for this too we need to know how many people will came. Donations are welcome it will help us to cover the expenses and the extra will go to the fundraiser. Also, we will have gluten free pasta for those who are gluten free. - TRAIN RIDES – We will have the Tricycle like last year. The children have so much fun!. BUT this year we will need the help from four adults to be supervising the riding. They can take turns constantly. Also we need some volunteers to ride in the tricycle and pull the wagons. Having supervision the train will help us keep the kids and volunteers safe and will help prevent accidents.
- GOURMET COFFEE
Gourmet Coffee by Joe Biondi. Children get ready for your hot chocolate, and parents enjoy a good coffee.
