Sung High Mass for the Feast of the Maternity of Mary, Mother of God offered by Fr. Thomas Longua, FSSP. After Mass, the parishioners celebrated by honoring our blessed Mother in a Rose ceremony and joining the festivities of the yearly parish picnic.
Please submit names of the departed that you would like to include in the All Souls Masses as soon as possible. The names will remain on the altar for the month of November. If you have submitted names in the past for this purpose, you need not submit them again, we saved those lists – we are just looking to add to them now.
If you are new to the parish, or if you have names that were not included in the last few years. Please submit names to secretary@materdeiparish.com by October 30th.
All are invited to celebrate the Feast of the Divine Maternity of Our Lady and our parish blessing anniversary on Sunday, October 11, 2015 beginning at 11:00 AM.
Following the 9:00 AM Solemn High Mass, there will be events in and around the parish hall from 11:00 AM until 6:oo PM. (Picnic fare meals will be available after the 9am and 11:30am Masses). All are encouraged to bring sides to share as well as their own beverages and personal picnic supplies (chairs/blankets to place on the lawn areas around the Church grounds).
There will also be organized games for young and old. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy the company of our priests and fellow parishioners!
Volunteer to help with activities
Lunch served after the 9:00 AM & 11:30 AM Masses
Burgers will be provided after each Mass. Please bring a side item to share -(Drop off Side Items and Pies before each Mass). All are encouraged to bring beverages and personal picnic supplies as well.
Cupcake walk and Pie Contest
Mark your pie with a 3×5 card showing your name, email or phone number and the kind of pie it is (Max 20 entries). Please consider bringing cupcakes and/or cookies to donate which will be used in a Cupcake Walk until all the items are gone! Please no refrigerated items.
Friends and Family are welcome
Parishioners are encouraged to invite their family and friends to accompany them to the event. [Event is not open to the general public]
Entertainment and Activities for All Ages
There will be an outdoor tent and Team Games (such as Volleyball, Football and Basketball). There will also be games organized for the little ones, in addition to the free bounce house. A sing-along will be held in the Parish Hall.

1:30 PM – Dedication outside of the Office Building
2:00 PM to 3:00 PM – Cupcake Walk
2:30 PM – Pie Contest Judging
2:30 PM to 5:00 PM – Team Games (Volleyball, Football, Basketball)
2:30 PM to 4:00 PM – Sing-Along
6:00 PM – Picnic closes
