All Hallows Eve Party – Saturday, October 31st
Please save the date for our All Hallows Eve Party, Saturday, October 31st from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM. All are welcome! Children are invited to dress as saints and to go A-Souling’ as done in past years.

There will be two boxes in the parish hall to collect candy for ‘A-Souling.’ fromOctober 10th-October 25th. Please attach the name of a departed soul on each piece of candy for the children to pray for.
We are in need of adults and older teenagers to dress as saints and decorate each classroom door in the school building. We are also in need of volunteers to help set up and clean up.

All Saints “Stump the Carmelite Sisters” – Sunday, November 1
It is time to think of ALL SAINTS and the 18th year of “Stump the Carmelite Sisters”.
We will meet at the Monastery of the Infant of Prague and St. Joseph, 600 Flowers Ave., Dallas, TX 75211 on Sunday, November 1, 2015 after the 9:00 Mass and before the 11:30 Mass.
The Sisters will welcome us into the parlor where your little “saints” will give them 3-5 clues (remember to give them the Feast Day of your saint) to help Sisters guess your saint. We will let all of those attending the 11:30 AM go first so they can get back to Mater Dei in time for Mass.
There will be refreshments at the Carmel for the children.

Please submit names of the departed that you would like to include in the All Souls Masses as soon as possible. The names will remain on the altar for the month of November. If you have submitted names in the past for this purpose, you need not submit them again, we saved those lists – we are just looking to add to them now.
