Born in Aragon (Spain), he became a Franciscan where he became a model of austerity, obedience and poverty. For his devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, Pope Leo XIII declared him protector of all Eucharistic congresses and works. He died May 17, 1592.

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) serves in apostolates across the world, with the faithful celebration of the traditional Mass and Sacraments (Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite) at the center of their charism.

You are not alone! All over the globe people are discovering the treasure that has been at the heart of the Catholic Liturgy since the first century. Do not feel out of place if you are not familiar with Latin (you will see most people reading a translation) or if the actions on the altar look different – this same Mass was known by Roman Catholics around the world for centuries!
