GENERAL
Catholic Pro-Life Community is the official Respect Life Ministry of the Dallas Diocese which sponsors advocacy programs, Youth For Life, programs for women and men who are currently in need of assistance, are seeking healing for a past abortion, as well as several annual fund-raising events, including the Christ Child Luncheon, the CPLC Golf Classic, and the Bishops Pro-Life Dinner

Pro-Life DFW sponsors the 40 Days for Life 365 effort to pray year-long in front of abortion providers, retreats for organizers, and provides information about Dallas area conferences, retreats and other events related to the pro-life effort.

Texans for Life Coalition raises awareness, provides advocacy and fundraising efforts for the pro-life work in Texas. They are a sponsor of the North Texas March for Life and sponsor Walk for Life events at several DFW parishes in May

ANNUAL EVENTS
40 Days for Life coordinates 40-day long all-day prayer campaigns in front of abortion providers throughout the country twice/year, in the fall and during Lent.

Hike For Life is the oldest Pro-Life in Texas and hosts fundraising walks in the metroplex during the month of October and April. Funds raised go to area Pregnancy Resource Centers and Pro-life ministries

Life Chain is a coordinated annual & national event on the first Sunday in October in which people gather on sidewalks for 90 minutes and silently hold provided signs and pray. We do this annually at Mater Dei along the sidewalk in front of the church

North Texas March for Life takes place each year in downtown Dallas on the Saturday closest to the anniversary of the January 22, 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. Mater Dei often provides buses to and from the March.

SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS
Project Gabriel is an outreach to women facing a crisis pregnancy. Project Gabriel partners with pregnancy resource centers, adoption agencies, and family assistance organizations to bring hope and healing to women in crisis. Additionally, A “Gabriel Angel” walks alongside each mom during her time in the program

Project Rachel and Project Joseph provide support and healing for post-abortive women and men through area retreats and counseling.

CATHOLIC ORGANIZATIONS THAT ASSIST WOMEN DURING PREGNANCY
White Rose Women’s Center assists women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, providing testing, ultrasounds, counseling and material support. The White Rose is assisted by St. Joseph’s Helpers.

BLOOM Pregnancy Help Center assists women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, providing testing, ultrasounds, counseling and material support.

Bella House provides the immediate needs for homeless pregnant women of shelter, food, clothing and baby items, as well as educational programs and counseling. Women live in community with other mothers and their children until they graduate from the program.
