MAY CROWNING
May 1, 2016 – After the 9am Mass

All children ages 6-13 are encouraged to participate.

If you would like for your children, boys and girls, to be a part of the May Crowning for 2016, please fill out the sign up form below.

If your child has made their First Holy Communion from May of 2015-May of 2016 and would like their name to be placed in a pool of names where two girls and two boys will be chosen to crown the Blessed Mother statues, please give that information in the email.

There will also be a pot luck gathering in the Parish Hall after the Procession of the Blessed Mother statue. Please let us know if you would be able to bring a dish to share.

It is time to prepare for the May Crowning! The May Crowning will take place on May 3rd after the 9:00 AM Mass and before the 11:30 Mass.

Please contact the May Crowning committee at cheryl.truty@gmail.com or call 214-802-7524 if you would like your child(ren) to participate. If your child has made his/her First Holy Communion from May of 2014 to May 2 of 2015 please let the committee have their name. Two boys and two girls will be chosen from this group to help crown the Blessed Mother statues.

This is a beautiful devotion and we hope many children will be able to participate from all of the various masses at Mater Dei.
