Happy Feast day to all!
Tomorrow evening, music to honor the feast will include a new choral mass by Ravanello, sung by the women of the choir and accompanied by organ.
We will also sing a couple 3-part motets written by Ravanello for this feast day, a joyful canon, “Laudate Dominum” by the English composer William Croft, and a classic: Mozart’s “Ave Verum Corpus”.
The motets by Ravanello utilize the proper texts of the mass, already in your missal translations.
Please pray that we sing well for the Glory of God, and we hope that it further edifies the faithful in their prayers!
